VALPARAISO, IN., Sept. 21, 2006 — The Indiana Federation for Immigration Reform & Enforcement (IFIRE) will hold an all-day conference titled "Taking America Back" on Saturday, October 7, in Anderson, IN., featuring a diverse group of nationally-known advocates for legal, controlled, and reduced immigration. The keynote speaker is Daniel Sheehy, author of the acclaimed new book Fighting Immigration Anarchy: American Patriots Battle to Save the Nation, from Indiana-based Rooftop Publishing.

"This election year, massive illegal immigration is the most important issue affecting voters," said Cheree Calabro, state director of IFIRE, www.ifire.org. It allows illegal aliens already living and working here to cut in front of legal immigrants waiting overseas. This is an amnesty, no matter how Pence spins it."

  • Yeh Ling-Ling immigrated legally to the United States in 1980. She is executive director of Diversity Alliance for a Sustainable America, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to educating the public about the connection between mass immigration and major concerns of legal residents, U.S. and foreign born. In addition to numerous appearances on TV and radio, she has published immigration articles across the country, from the Los Angeles Times to Omaha World-Herald, the Harvard Law School's Record and textbooks.
     
  • Ted Hayes calls himself America's foremost homeless activist. As co-founder of the Crispus Attucks Brigade, a black American anti-illegal immigration group, Hayes says, "The massive invasion and illegal colonization of the U.S. by citizens of foreign countries is the greatest threat to black American citizens since slavery itself. As a homeless activist, I can't get the masses of homeless off the streets of America, while our resources are plundered by citizens of other nations illegally within our borders." Hayes made headlines in Chicago in August when he was denied entry at a church where illegal alien Elvira Arellano has taken refuge.
     
  • Susan Tully is the National Field Director for the Federation for American Immigration Reform, a national organization promoting a non-discriminatory immigration policy serving the social, economic, and environmental needs of America. She was the Municipal Code Enforcement Manager in Southern California for 12 years and the Southern California Immigration Coordinator for the Coalition of Government Officials for five years. She ran for Congress in Wisconsin, was president of Citizens Committee on Immigration Policy, has testified before Congress, and appeared on numerous TV and radio programs.
     
  • Rick Biesada was one of the original Minutemen standing watch on our border with Mexico in April 2005. Founder of the Chicago Minutemen, this politically incorrect Marine authored the Angry White Male and the Horse He Rode In On. He writes a weekly column for the Federal Observer, and his radio talk show can be heard on WJJG 1530 AM in Chicago. Biesada literally took the blows from the socialist counter-protestors when the Chicago Minutemen stood with IFIRE to demand an end to Bank Calumet's program of mortgage loans for illegal aliens.

Fighting Immigration Anarchy Shoots Up Amazon Bestseller List

I'm delighted to tell you that my newly expanded and updated edition of Fighting Immigration Anarchy: American Patriots Battle to Save the Nation, released just a few weeks ago, shot up Amazon.com's bestseller list this past week.

On Wednesday, August 2, the book climbed above No. 300 on Amazon's sales-ranking list. That's out of millions of book titles sold on Amazon, the leader in online book sales.

The high ranking followed an announcement about the new book from NumbersUSA President Roy Beck to the organization's 200,000 members. (NumbersUSA has no financial interest in my book.)

Responding, in part, to growing concerns from NumbersUSA members, the announcement discussed the book's new 20-page chapter titled "Bush and Other Elites Merging U.S., Mexico, and Canada." I spent countless hours during the past year researching this treasonous scheme to erase America by integrating the economies, populations, and cultures of the three currently sovereign nations. The chapter looks at the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, which President Bush agreed to in March 2005; a report titled Building a North American Community, published in May 2005 by the Council on Foreign Relations; and the Central American Free Trade Agreement, passed by Congress and Bush last summer.

This merger scheme, scheduled to take effect in 2010, would mean no more illegal immigration across America's borders because millions of Mexicans, Canadians, and anyone else using those regions will be able to freely enter the U.S. This is why our federal government won't protect our borders and enforce our immigration laws — our leaders have a different plan entirely. (I thought we were in a "war on terror.") This also is why the Bush administration is feverishly pushing a "comprehensive" immigration bill, with amnesty for millions of illegal aliens and a so-called guest-worker program.

My book looks at the immigration reform movement through the personal stories of courageous American patriots of various backgrounds who personify the grassroots struggle against the elites seeking to radically change America through uncontrolled immigration. The theme of Fighting Immigration Anarchy is how much determined people can do, even with limited resources, to save the nation.

Understandably, the book's ranking on Amazon has dropped in the past few days but is expected to climb back up as my publisher's marketing campaign unfolds and the November election nears.
